About Our Teams Bars

Your team’s bars came about as our favourite football team was playing a pre-season friendly game at the other side of the country.

There we were a small group of friends fully dressed in team colours, wearing our teams football tops, and football scarves, miles for our home town and not having a clue what pubs would be friendly or which to avoid. We decided to look up the net for a pub that showed live football thinking at least it would be a football friendly bar, yes you guessed it we walked in through the door went to the bar to order a nice cold pint of beer only to have the pub go total silent quickly followed by a loud chorus of a rival football team’s chants coming from the lounge aimed at our direction. Luckily it was in all in good fun but it could have been so very different.

So there you have it the reason why this directory of team pubs was formed. Hey we don’t want to meet our rivals in our football bars and football pubs either and there is nowhere we could find on the net that is aimed at all teams plus we are lazy bastards and would rather go to one site looking for which bar is our team friendly and which is a rival teams pub than searching through loads of different sites. Also we wanted to have a good idea if it was a nice pub or sawdust on the floor type of boozer before we wasted our time travelling to it if a better atmosphere bar was closer
